A Companion to The Faith Framework
You have beliefs about how God operates that you have never said out loud and never checked.
This finds them.
I asked what you believed about Him. Not what you believed He would do.
You will read a few situations. For each one you will see a response, and you tell us how often that is actually you. Not what you agree with. What you would really do.
Six minutes. Answer fast.
One Question First
Is something happening in your life right now? A diagnosis this week. A death. A marriage coming apart. A child in trouble.
What This Is Built On
Nothing here is a personality type and nothing here is invented. Every category below is an error Scripture names, and in three cases confronts directly.
| Reward reckoned of debt, not of grace | the exchange belief | Romans 4:4 |
| The retribution error of Job’s friends | cause and blame | Job 42:7 |
| Heard for their much speaking | words and power | Matthew 6:7 |
| Made perfect by the flesh | worth by output | Galatians 3:3 |
| No variableness, neither shadow of turning | the healthy pole | James 1:17 |
The questions do not quote these passages, on purpose. Naming the verse inside the question would tell you the answer you are supposed to give, and you would give it. You get the doctrine after you have told the truth.
Before Anything Else
You said something is happening right now.
Then this is not the week for a diagnostic. A tool that hands you a number and a list of what is wrong with your theology is not what you need in the middle of it, and I would be doing you harm to let you take it while you are in that room.
There is nothing on this page to buy and nothing to sign up for. I am going to say three things and then get out of your way.
One
Whatever you are afraid of, you are allowed to say it out loud. To a person, and to God, in the actual words. There are roughly sixty psalms of complaint in your Bible, more than there are psalms of praise, and God put every one of them in there on purpose. Nobody is going to be hurt by you telling the truth about how bad it is.
Two
Call one person tonight. Not a group. One. A pastor, a counselor, a friend who will sit in a room with you and not try to fix it. If you cannot think of anybody, that is the thing to solve first, and it is solvable. If you are in danger or you are thinking about hurting yourself, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country right now, before anything else on this page.
Three
Nothing you did caused this. I do not know your situation and I am willing to say that anyway, because the belief that suffering is a receipt has been confronted directly, and it did not survive the confrontation.
Those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay.
Luke 13:4-5 KJV
He is handed a disaster and asked whose fault it was, and He says Nay. Not gently. Twice.
Come back to this in a few months. It will still be here and it will mean more.
If you would rather have somebody sit with this alongside you, the Wednesday Table Kit is free and it is built for exactly this. No email required.
Your Result
0
Transaction Load
Is a lower number better? For durability, yes. A low score means your faith is resting mostly on God's character, which does not change when your circumstances do. A high score means more of your weight is on a mechanism, and mechanisms fail.
But this is not a holiness score. A low number does not mean you love God more. Some of the most devoted people alive score in the eighties, and that is exactly the problem. Emily Carter served her church for thirty-four years and scored 86.
What the number actually measures. Twenty-four ways a transactional belief shows up in real behavior. Your score is how many of them are running in you, and how hard.
Where Your Number Sits
There is no national average for this yet. When enough people have taken it, there will be. For now, here is the cast of the novel, scored on the same twenty-four behaviors.
These are characters in a work of fiction, scored by the author. They are for scale, not for science.
Where It Sits
Four ways a transactional belief shows up. The tallest one is running the others.
Your Load-Bearing Belief
Before Anything Else
This tool measures behavior. Scripture defines the thing. So before you read one more line of your result, here is what the book actually says faith is.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1 KJV
Notice what is not in that verse. No amount. No threshold. No mechanism. Faith is described as substance and evidence, not as currency and not as leverage. Everything this tool measured is what people build on top of that verse without checking it.
What Is Already True In You
Before one word of correction. These came out of your own answers, and they are worth more than the number above.
What This Error Is Called
Your result is not a modern diagnosis. It has a name, and the New Testament confronts it.
The Verse That Was Probably Used On You
What it is used to mean:
What it says in context:
And here is the passage that tests it
Your Sentences
Generated from the responses you rated highest. Under each one is the passage that tests it. Do not take my word for any of this. Go read them.
Where This Came From
Before You Read Any Further
You have just read something true about yourself. The right response to that is not to think harder about it. Pray this, out loud, in your own words if these are not yours.
The model for that prayer
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Psalm 139:23-24 KJV
David is not asking God for an outcome. He is asking to be shown himself, and then he asks to be led out. Notice that both halves are requests. He does not offer to fix it.
Now Close This Page
Go get your Bible. The physical one, if you have it.
You have read four passages on a screen today, and reading Scripture on a results page is not the same act as opening it. A mind is renewed in the Word, not in an article about the Word, and you will remember what you turned pages to find in a way you will never remember what a website showed you.
Turn to the passage below. Read the whole chapter, not the verse. Then come back if you want to. It will keep.

Probable Address
What Happens Next, For Most People
Nothing.
"I never said it out loud. I want you to understand I never once said it out loud, because it would have sounded foolish coming out of a grown man's mouth."
That is Carl Brewer, seventy-three years old, in a truck on a county road. He carried the same belief you are holding right now for eleven years, four feet from a pastor, every single Sunday.
And when he was asked why he never said it:
"Because it's not a thing you can say in that fellowship hall."
Finding a belief is the easy part. Trading it takes somebody across the table who will not flinch and will not agree with you to keep the peace.
One Thing This Page Cannot Do
It cannot change you.
A mirror shows you the dirt. It has never once washed a face. Everything above is diagnosis, and diagnosis has never healed anybody.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12:2 KJV
Read what the verse says the transformation runs on. Not insight. Not self-awareness. Not a score on a website. The renewing of the mind, which happens by the Word of God and the Spirit of God working in a person over time, usually with other believers in the room.
So take what is above and do something with it that is not this page. Open the passages. Take it to somebody. If all you do is find out your number, you will be exactly as you were, and you will feel like you did something.

This is a mirror, not a verdict. It cannot see your heart and it is not Scripture. If something here landed hard, take it to a pastor, a counselor, or one friend who will let you say a hard thing without trying to fix it.
Retake this in ninety days. Emily Carter went from 86 to 34, and it took her eleven months, a pastor who would not let her quit, and three weeks in the middle where she walked out. Beliefs move slowly. The only honest way to know whether yours have moved is to measure twice.
